Eugene Gunn : Chairman

Eugene is a co-founder of the company and one of the most respected and knowledgeable experts within the building façade industry. With well in excess of 40 years’ experience in the industry, his input into system design spans a large and varied number of building projects, many of which are prominent landmark buildings in Ireland.  He still is actively involved with the company and plays an important role as part of the senior design team, and also as a consultant, primarily at the early stages of projects.


Padraig O’Dwyer – Managing Director

With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Pádraig has worked in specialist contracting for most of his career and has been involved in projects in Ireland, the U.K. and overseas. He has been involved in the facade industry for many years, having roles in estimating, sales, project management and general management to director level. He has also acted in the role of Bid Manager with a Main Contractor.

Pádraig was appointed Managing Director in July 2014 with responsibility for all GLF activities. He also heads the Commercial Team with responsibility for identifying tender opportunities, overseeing estimating and he continues to be actively involved in contract negotiations and valuations.  Pádraig qualified in Engineering at University of Limerick and is a member of Engineers Ireland.  He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin


Paul Gunn : Technical Director

Paul joined the company over 15 years ago and was appointed to the position of Technical Director in 2005.  He is responsible for the company’s Design and Procurement Teams and works closely with Production and Site Managers to ensure design implementation from conception to project completion.  Paul has specialist expertise in detailing and designing complex bespoke façades and has successfully led the Design Team on some of GLF’s most notable and prestigious projects valued in excess of €20m.


Adrian Davis F.C.C.A. : Finance Director

Adrian has over 20 years’ experience mainly within the construction industry.  He has been with GLF for a number of years.  In his senior position with the company, he plays an important role in heading our Accounts Team and providing financial information to support our Management Team.



Brian Kealy : Production Manager

Brian has been Production Manager with the company for almost 10 years.  His 22 years’ experience manufacturing and installing Aluminium Curtain Walling, Commercial Windows, Doors, Rooflights and Louvre Systems ensures the efficient and economic running of the manufacturing plant.  Brian’s previous site experience also ensures efficient communications with installation staff.  He also oversees the factory floor and warehousing facilities with direct responsibility for employee management, plant maintenance and procurement. Brian has successfully completed courses and certification in Theory of Curtain Walling including Fabrication of Curtain Walling and I.O.S.H. Managing.  He is also the company’s Health & Safety representative.


Barry Gough : Contracts Manager


Barry heads the Site Management Team with responsibility for overseeing site logistics and the efficient running of site installations and management. He also ensures proper site communications with all relevant departments within GLF. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, he has a degree in Civil Engineering and has delivered facade projects in Ireland, the U.K. and overseas.   Barry has had a key senior role on many high profile projects within the company to date.
