Dun Laoghaire Library and Cultural Centre

GLF recently commenced installation of bespoke bronze and aluminium facades on the new Dun Laoghaire Library & Cultural Centre, working with the Main Contractor, Sisk.

The Cultural Centre was designed by Carr Cotter Naessens Architects and will include a performance space with seating for 100 people, an art gallery, education workshop space and cafe. The library will include a public “living room” overlooking the park, with internet facilities and a resource for community information. Facilities will also include a dedicated suite of rooms for young people.

Our design team worked on the façades in close collaboration with the architects and consultants Billings Design Associates. The value of our package on this project is in excess of €2.4 million and its manufacture and installation continues to programme. The project is due to be fully completed in Autumn 2014.
